Hon. Barbara Oteng – Gyasi  Donate To A Waste Management Company At Huni-Valley

The immediate past Member of Parliament for Preatea Huni – Valley Constituency Hon. Lawyer Barbara Oteng – Gyasi and former Minister of Tourism Art and Culture and Government Representative, on 15th day of January, 2021 presented an items worth over Twenty five Thousand Ghana Cedis (Gh¢25, 000) to a waste Management Company at her Residence.

Zero waste Bosomtwe a Waste Management Company which is a Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) formed on February 2020 received one Aboboya (Tricycle) and Ten Pieces of modern garbage bins.

Hon. Barbara, in her presentation said the chief executive Office of the company approached her of their inability to collect most of the waste as a results of the very bad nature of the tricycle they use.

 

She promised of getting them a new one as she fulfilled today. The immediate past MP, said cleanliness is very important that is the reason why His. Exellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo – Addo the president of the Republic of Ghana created Ministry for Sanitation.

Mrs. Barbara Oteng – Gyasi reiterated that she wants to see a clean Huni-valley and also advice them now that schools have reopened, they should make sure every school in Huni-valley benefit from the garbage bin which will make waste collection at various schools easy for them and also charged them to make Huni-valley a model town and cleanest in Ghana.

The Chief executive Officer (CEO) and Co. Founder of Zero waste Bosomtwe Ebenezer Afful thanked Hon. Barbara for her kind gesture and said the items came at the right time which will enable them to move to other parts of the town.

Ebenezer Afful promised his team will make good use of the items to the full benefit of the community and ask for God’s protection for Hon. Barbara.
