UK Based Ghanaian Dj Poised To Promote African Music

The UNAFRIK show hosted by DJ Francis is back on OMEGA TV, UK.

A UK based Ghanaian Disc Jockey, DJ Francis has promised to transform and promote the African, Ghanaian music industries.

The renowned dj disclosed his commitment at the just ended Destination Ghana Campaign Luanch in UK which hosted the president of the republic of Ghana , Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Adoo .

The President in his remarks commended the renowned DJ for his tremendous works for putting Ghana on the limelight in the United Kingdom.

 

Mr Francis was honoured by an invitation as the organisers recognise his work over the past years and this will encourage him to do more for Africa, especially Ghana.

 

The topmost DJ in UK, who has over the years promoting Africa music in the UK reiterated that he was much focused to transform the African music industry in the West.

Prior to the outbreak of the Covid 19 pandemic, the UNAFRIK Show was one of the top entertainment show on radio in the UK, which had it audiences across the globe especially Africa and Europe.

 

The Show was then aired on Gn Radio UK and shown every Saturday from 10pm to 12am and one of the most streaming Saturday show in the UK.

It has helped to promote many uprising artists from Africa through its segment which was set to promote new artists, fashion designers, DJs and other creative art.

The product of UNAFRIK show, Dj Zel who gained much exposure as the young Dj on the show, which made her the youngest dj in the UK and youngest radio dj.

As the UNAFRIK show resumed on Omega TV last 2weeks, it has gained it attractions and love from its fans as is uniquely hosted by a legendary dj in the diaspora Dj Francis.

The show now aired every 2 weeks on Omega TV, Mondays from 8:30 to 10pm with excitement segments, interviews, music video, hot pot with artists.

Who is DJ FRANCIS?

DJ Francis over 30 years in the game promoting everything African especially Ghana .

A pioneer responsible for getting African music aired on main stream station and clubs in the UK.

He was also the first to bring Daddy Lumba, KoJo Antwi, AB Crentsil, the late Nana Tuffour, Smart Nkansah amongst many to London Brixton Academy and other venues at the time only reserved for the elites Tina Turner’s and Michael Jackson.

 

Almost all African events that takes place in UK can trace its root to this dynamic pioneer.

The first to also organise miss Ghana uk beauty pageant.

After time out working on Drum and Bass and Garage brand events DJ Francis returned back his African Roots with the UnAfrikShow a unique program that promotes Africa like no one else .

UnAfrikShow live shows remains the only event in UK which actively promotes up coming artists as well established ones to perform live in various locations bringing a new audiences.
