The New Patriotic Party Deputy Nasara Coordinator for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Constituency, Mr. Ibrahim Mohammed, has expressed unequivocally without mincing words that the majority of the Zongo communities have been overlooked by this government.

Mr. Ibrahim Mohammed speaking in an interview with some media personals revealed that NPP sympathizers at the Zongo communities are fed up with the maltreatment given them the Nana Addo, Bawumia’s government.

He taunted the regional executives of the party to single out a monumental project done for the Zongos after striving to win power for the Akufo-Addo’s government.

“We have been utilizing our pockets money to underwrite party programs, before and after elections, but we at the Zongo societies have never served from this current Npp government.

We were denied access to get the MASLOC vehicles which were distributed to our comrades in some part country. We are pleading with Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo to pay attention to our petition and give us some aid,” he underlined.

On the other hand, he appealed to the kingmakers of the party to ensure they present Dr. Bawumia as flag bearer for the 2024 general elections.

“Without Dr. Bawumia, the NPP government will lose woefully in the Zongo communities. I am pleading with the delegates to accept the Vice president Dr. Bawumia as the flag-bearer for the party come 2024 general polls”.
