NDC Wins Krachi West Parliamentary Election Petition

The High Court in Hohoe has dismissed a petition filed by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) challenging the election of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate Helen Adjoa Ntoso as Member of Parliament (MP) for Krachi West in the 2020 Parliamentary Elections.

 

After the elections in 2020, the NPP challenged her election as part of a series of petitions against the election of some NDC MPs.

 

“One of the NDC Parliamentary seats that was contested after the 2020 election was the Krachi West Constituency. We have been battling the election petition at the High Court in Hohoe.

Today, High Court presided over by Justice Amarh Aryeetey dismissed the petition in its entirety.
