Father’s Day: Sir John Spells Out Touching Message To Akufo-Addo, Bawumia And All Fathers

Millions across the world are marking Father’s Day today, June 19, 2022, in celebration of their fathers and father figures for the special roles they play in their lives.

A day set aside to acknowledge fathers for contributing to what we are now and not abandoning us when we were young.

On Mother’s Day, it appears that fathers will get their fair share of what they deserve, as many people went hard, loud, and clear with their love, messages, and gifts.

In Ghana, people have taken to social media to post pictures posing beside their fathers with heartwarming messages to celebrate them.

In a father’s day message, the New Patriotic Party’s first Vice Chairman of Atwima Nwabiagya South Constituency, Ashanti Regional Medical Team Member-NPP and Patron of NPP Crusaders, Hon. John Kwame Duodu, popularly known in the political limelight as  SIR JOHN , has commended President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo,  Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia, all male government officials and the entire leadership of the New Patriotic Party home and abroad, and all responsible fathers.

On the occasion of the world’s celebration of Fathers’ Day, the NPP’s 1st Vice Chairman of Atwima Nwabiagya South Constituency, NPP Ashanti Regional Medical Team member and Patron of NPP Crusaders, Mr. John Kwame Duodu, extends warm felicitation to the President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo, and the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, all male government officials including Members of Parliament, Ministers, Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) and the entire leadership of the New Patriotic Party home and abroad.

 

Ghanaians are confident that the leadership of President Akufo Addo will continue to inspire us, to inspire each other with our potential as individuals and as a nation, and that the spirit of hard work, conscientiousness, and responsible citizenship will be born in our nation.

May we, as a united people, move with clear, dedicated purpose to take our place within the community of nations to help build a better future for all Ghanaians.

We pray for God’s guidance and blessings for the success of the President and the government of the Republic of Ghana.

May we, as a nation, be guided to rediscover the sacred flame of our national heritage, which so many have given their lives to safeguard.

Let the wounds of separation and division be healed by opening our hearts to listen to the truth on all sides, allowing us to find a higher truth that includes all.
May we learn to value and appreciate our diversity and differences as a people while also touching more deeply on our fundamental unity.

May we, as a people, undergo a transformation as you lead our nation with courage, compassion, and a higher vision.
May the celebration of fatherhood today inspire in us the expectations of our party faithful and loyalists, fathers and father figures.
