The Member of Parliament (MP) for North Tongu, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has briefed leadership of the Ghana Apostolic Movement on the matters relating to the National Cathedral.

The lawmaker petitioned the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) in January over what he termed discrepancies at the National Cathedral secretariat.

Ablakwa, who shared news of the meeting on Facebook on Tuesday (7 March) said the discussions were fruitful and transparent., adding that he received special prayers in pursuit of his parliamentary oversight.

“Earlier today I honoured an invitation from the leadership of Ghana’s Apostolic Movement to offer a comprehensive briefing on matters relating to the “National” Cathedral scandal. The deliberations were extensive, transparent and frank in the best interest of our dear nation and our Lord’s Kingdom,” Ablakwa wrote on Facebook.

“I also received special prayers asking for the Lord’s fortification in the pursuit of what they described as my exemplary parliamentary oversight. I am profoundly grateful to these revered ministers of the gospel.

Always, for God and country,” Ablakwa added.
