The chief of Adanwomase, Nana Kwadwo Ntiamoah Panin II has completed and handed over a three-unit classroom block to the Adanwomase community in the Kwabre East Municipal of the Ashanti Region.
The classroom block with an office, was furnished with chairs and tables.
Speaking at the handing over ceremony, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the area, Opoku Agyeman Bonsu, admonished the community to consider education as a priority and take their wards to school as government is poised to improve education in the country.
He urged the School Management Committee to ensure proper maintenance of the facility.
The MCE added that there was no way Nana would put up the classroom block if the community did not consider education a priority.

The Municipal Education Director, Nana Atta Asare, on his part, expressed amazement at the speed at which the project had been completed and handed over for use.
He said there was no doubt the project would help in teaching and learning, considering the deplorable state of some school facilities in the Municipality.
Nana Asare thanked the chief for the initiative.The Director said, it was important for teachers to put in their best and students also to learn hard to justify the investment the chief made in them. They should also adopt maintenance culture to prolong the lifespan of the facility.
“To whom much is given, much is expected”, he added.
The Chief of Adanwomase, Nana Kwadwo Ntiamoah Panin II, was full of delight when the three-unit classroom block was formally inaugurated. Nana Ntiamoah said the project was as a result of the good relationship and vision he had for education and development in the community.
He mentioned the challenges he encountered from the start of the project in November to May, adding that with the help of his Queen Mother, the MCE and some other stakeholders, the project was successfully completed.
