The Hive Ecosystem graciously sponsored the twelfth water borehole project, which was inaugurated with a celebration by the residents of Asamankama in the Offinso Municipality of the Ashanti region.
Hive, a blockchain-based social media platform, expressed great pride and joy on this occasion.
This historic event not only represents the satisfaction of a fundamental need but also the spirit of cooperation and corporate social responsibility.
Distinguished guests, including representatives from Hive, respected community leaders, the Offinso Municipal Education Directorate, and esteemed Asamankama community members, attended the inauguration ceremony.
The Chief of Asamankama, Nana Osei Bediako II, was among these distinguished guests. He took the opportunity to convey his sincere gratitude to Hive and the ecosystem for their constant commitment to improving the lives of rural communities.
Likewise, the Offinso Municipal Director of Education, Madam Gladys Kwakye, was represented by Madam Georgina Ajaani, who expressed her sincere gratitude to Hive Blockchain for resolving an issue that had been plaguing the school and the community for years.
The residents of Asamanka received two borehole donations: one for Asamankama Basic School and the other for the entire town. Samuel Boadi, the Hive Project’s coordinator, begs people to utilize water responsibly, preserve it, and teach the next generation about its significance.
In addition to receiving two boreholes from Hive, the locals also received a free health screening that allowed them to check their blood pressure, eyes, diabetes status, and a host of other conditions.
Asamankama Basic School students were provided with educational resources such as workbooks, writing instruments, and more.
Its aim is for Hive to advance together with the rural communities, hand in hand, embracing a future fueled by clean water and shared prosperity.
