The widow of the late Deputy Minister of Finance, Dr. John Kumah, has disclosed that Prophet Nigel Gaisie was on her husband’s payroll.
Her husband, Apostle Mrs. Lilian Kumah, disclosed how she cherished and respected men of God and hence used private information about her husband’s illness to make a false prophecy about the death of another deputy minister in 2024.
“My husband has a special place for pastors. He doesn’t joke with men of God. We know him very well and have been aware since November 2023 that the late John Kumah was seriously sick. My husband had a lot of respect for men of God in this country, and that included Nigel Gaisie.
He was even one of the people on his payroll. Thus, when my husband and I thought he was a genuine man of God,” she revealed during an interview with Asaaseradio on Monday, March 11, 2024.
However, Apostle Lilian Kumah shared that her family severed ties with Nigel Gaisie after learning that he had misused information they had voluntarily provided to him.
The family had informed Gaisie about the late John Kumah’s serious illness in November 2023, and despite this knowledge, Mr Gaisie went on to make the false prophecy during his watchnight service on December 31, 2023.
“We know him very well and have been aware since November 2023 that the late John Kumah was seriously sick. My husband had a lot of respect for men of God in this country, and that included Nigel Gaisie when my husband and I thought he was a genuine man of God.
Describing the previous relationship they had with Gaisie, she mentioned that they used to share meals and that Mr Gaisie used to visit her church, Disciples of Christ Ministries.
