The First Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for Atwima Nwabiagya, John Kwame Duodu, also known as Sir John, expressed his best wishes to Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia ahead of the 2024 general elections.
This comes after the leader of the ruling New Patriotic Party submitted his nomination form to the Electoral Commission’s (EC) headquarters.
The National Deputy Organizer of the Friends of Bawumia 2008 Foundation (FoB-‘8) and the Ashanti Regional TESCON Patron expressed excitement in a statement to see so many Ghanaians, particularly the younger generation, endorsing Dr. Bawumia as the country’s next president and vowed to back him wholeheartedly.
He believes that this demonstrates that Bawumia will undoubtedly break the eight-year jinx and succeed his boss, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, as Ghana’s next leader.
The statement praised Dr. Bawumia for touring the country and openly sharing his audacious ideas for resolving Ghana’s economic crisis with Ghanaian voters without resentment, hatred, or vitriol.
Sir John stated that God had already chosen Dr. Bawumia to lead Mother Ghana and prayed for his divine favor and grace in the upcoming elections.
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the ruling New Patriotic Party, submitted his nomination forms to the Electoral Commission (EC) headquarters on Monday, September 9, 2024.
Dr. Bawumia was joined by his wife Samira Bawumia, running mate Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, and Alma Pokua Adade-Prempeh.
Party executives, including National Chairman Stephen Ayensu Ntim, General Secretary Justin Frimpong Kodua Esq, Majority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin, and other NPP leaders, are also present at the EC to offer support and solidarity.
