Second Lady Woos Asene Akroso-Manso Constituents For Dr. Bawumia, Oluwa

Ghana’s Second Lady, Samira Bawumia, has intensified her campaign efforts in the Asene Akroso-Manso (AAM) constituency, rallying unprecedented support for her husband, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the vice president and the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential candidate, as well as the NPP parliamentary candidate for the area, George Kwame Aboagye (Oluwa).

 

 

 

 

On September 27, 2024, Samira embarked on a vibrant tour of Akroso, Nkwanta, and Asene, engaging extensively with Muslim communities and urging them to vote overwhelmingly for Dr. Bawumia and Mr. George Kwame Aboagye (Oluwa), the NPP parliamentary candidate.

 

 

 

Addressing a mini durbar at Akroso, Samira emphasized the importance of unity and collective support for Dr. Bawumia’s presidential bid.

She highlighted his exceptional leadership skills, visionary agenda for a prosperous Ghana, and the numerous benefits accrued by the Muslim community under the Akufo-Addo and Bawumia governments.

 

 

 

Samira passionately appealed to chiefs, pastors, and residents at the gathering, stressing Dr. Bawumia’s unparalleled capacity to develop the country. Her campaign trail showcased warmth, charisma, and compassion, resonating deeply with the enthusiastic crowd.

Accompanied by NPP executives, including National Women Organizer Madam Kate Gyamfowah and Eastern Regional Chairman Jeff Konadu Addo, Samira’s efforts will play a crucial role in mobilizing support for Dr. Bawumia.

Aplomb

The incumbent Member of Parliament, Hon. George Kwame Aboagye, pledged to secure a massive, decisive vote for the flagbearer of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Dr. Bawumia, and himself as parliamentary candidate for the AAM constituency.

 

 

 

He affirmed Dr. Bawumia’s presidency as inevitable due to his transformative and visionary agenda.

Appeal

During Samira Bawumia’s campaign tour, prominent community leaders, including chief Imams, chiefs, and pastors, seized the opportunity to appeal to her and their MP, George Kwame Aboagye.

These respected leaders passionately requested that, if Dr. Bawumia becomes the president of the republic, their communities should receive a fair and equitable share of national cake, ensuring inclusive development and progress.

Their appeals underscored the importance of improved infrastructure, enhanced access to education and healthcare, economic empowerment initiatives, job creation, and opportunities.
