Every year, the OB-Yeboah Institute, founded by Nana Obiri-Yeboah Aborampah (OB-Yeboah), celebrates its founder’s birthday with a unique initiative – the Birthday Book Project. This annual event is a testament to the institute’s commitment to empowering education and enriching the lives of underprivileged students. This year’s project was a resounding success, thanks to the generosity of the Anuanom Books team, who donated an impressive array of educational materials to underprivileged schools in the Juansa and Hwidiem communities.
A Gift of Knowledge: Over 2,000 Exercise Books and More
The Anuanom Books team’s donation included over 2,000 exercise books, as well as mugs and key holders. These essential items will go a long way in supporting the educational journey of numerous students in the beneficiary schools. The exercise books, in particular, will provide a vital resource for students to practice their writing, drawing, and problem-solving skills. This donation will undoubtedly alleviate the burden on students, parents, and teachers, allowing them to focus on what matters most – learning and growth.
Beneficiary Schools: A Network of Grateful Institutions
On the fourth year of this project , the following schools were the grateful recipients of the Anuanom Books team’s donation: Domebra Penworth Preparatory School, Juansa Presby Primary and JHS School, Juansa Islamic Community School, Juansa Methodist Primary and JHS School, Juansa Roman Catholic (RC) Primary and JHS School, Juansa St. John’s Preparatory School, Hwidiem M/A Primary and JHS, Hwidiem Methodist JHS.
These schools, located in the Juansa and Hwidiem communities, serve as beacons of hope for students from underprivileged backgrounds. The donation from the Anuanom Books team will have a direct and positive impact on the educational experiences of these students.
Empowering Education, Enriching Lives.
The OB-Yeboah Institute’s Birthday Book Project, in partnership with the Anuanom Books team, has made a tangible difference in the lives of countless students. By providing essential educational materials, this initiative has helped bridge the resource gap, ensuring that these students have an equal opportunity to succeed.
The institute’s founder, Nana Obiri-Yeboah Aborampah (OB-Yeboah), emphasized the importance of education in empowering individuals and communities. “Education is the key to unlocking the potential of our youth. It is our responsibility to provide them with the necessary tools and resources to succeed.”
The OB-Yeboah Institute is grateful for the support of its partners, who have contributed to the success of the Birthday Book Project: Mrs. Olivia Ometeley Oku (Accra), Asante Akyem Youth Union Movement (AYUM), 4CEASER Digital Printing, Prestige Clothing, QP Graphics, Creativeline.
Together, we can create a brighter future for generations to come.
The institute express the gratitude to the headmasters and all the teaching staffs for their cooperation to the execution of this project and also the sacrifices they are rendering on our pupils.
