[Video] Caregiver Who Maltreated Baby Leading To Her Death Arrested

A 54-year-old caregiver Clara Ayani-Ampah, who allegedly battered 11-months-old baby girl whilst feeding her has been arrested by the Police.

Greater Accra Regional Police Public Relations Officer ASP Afia Tengey confirmed the news of her arrest on Friday May 28 and added that she will be put before court.

The baby, Allegra Yaba Ackah Mensah was pronounced dead at the North Legon Hospital where she was rushed to for medical attention.

The suspect was arrested after a video tape of the alleged maltreatment was released by management of Happy Bloomers Creche at Agbogba.

The matter was then reported to the Police, leading to the arrest of the suspect.
