The Ghana Grid Company (GridCo) has announced a scheduled maintenance exercise at the Mallam Bulk Supply Point aimed at improving power service delivery to consumers.
The maintenance is set to take place on Sunday, May 18, 2025, between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm.
As a result, several communities in Accra are expected to experience temporary power outages during the period. Affected areas include Odorko, Awoshie, Sakaman, Mallam, Darkuman, Santa Maria, Kwashieman, Sowutuom, Ablekuma, Tarbora, Joma, Manhia, Gbawe, Weija, West Hills Mall, Oblogo, Aynaa, Boartianor, McCarthy Hills, Mandela, Sunda Industries, Tuba, Dunkonaa, and Dansoman.
The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), in a statement, expressed regret for the inconvenience the outage may cause and assured customers of its commitment to restoring power promptly once the maintenance is completed.
