The Former chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Afigya Kwabre North constituency Lawyer Agyari Dweteh has assisted the St. Micheal Senior High School at Ahenkro with some ICT equipment.
Lawyer Dweteh donated 10 desktop computers to the school.
The former chairman during the presentation said he collaborated with Chinese society in Ghana to support the school with the ICT equipment as he believes the world has become more digital.
He stated ICT nowadays did not only under-pin globalisation, but was also necessary for success in education.
“Hence the need for the pupils ,students and the youth to become abreast with it, to enable them to face challenges of globalisation, and become well qualified for the job market” Mr.Dweteh added.
Mr. Joseph Agyei, The assistant headmaster of St.Micheal SHS, who received the items on behalf of the school,expressed gratitude to the donors for the gesture, and said it would enhance the learning of ICT in the school.
