Adansi South DCE Confrimed With 100% Votes

Early today, Tuesday, 28th september, 2021, Assembly members in the Adansi South District Assembly of the Ashanti Region has confirmed the President Akuffo-Addo’s District Chief Executive Nominee, Mr Francis Ankomah.

 

The 40 assembly members present duly voted to confirm his nomination by giving him 100 per cent of votes.

 

Speaking to MyGhanaMedia.com, Francis Ankomah expressed his gratitude to the President for the opportunity given to him to serve his people.

 

He also thanked the assembly members for the overwhelming endorsement and promised to work hard with them to justify the trust they have in him in his second term.

 

He moreover, thanked Nananom, the Ashanti Regional minister, for their support and confirming him again as the District Chief Executive for Adansi South District.

 

 

Hon. Francis Ankomah added that, the outcome of the election clearly shows that, the Assembly members were impressed by his work during the first term of office which he explain details.

 

 

Moreover, the member of parliament for New Edubiase Constituency Hon Abdul Salam Adams added that, though the appointment of Metropolitan Municipal and District Chief Executives delayed but he knew the president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo was investigating to know who to be Appointed as DCE in our various Districts. He therefore promised to collaborate with the DCE elected to bring more development into the New Edubiase Constituency.
