54 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates in the Atwima Asamang D/A JHS  and Aduwamase  D/A JHS of the Ashanti Region have received free mathematical sets and pens from My Ghana Media’s News Editor who is also a Broadcasting Journalist, Adwenpa-Hene Kofi Mensah secretly known as Mr. Francis Mensah.

The math sets will aid the students in their examination which will commences on , November 15th, 2021.

The donation formed part of measures to ensure that no candidate lacked basic learning inputs required for the examination.

In a brief remark before the presentation, Ahenkan Fm’s presenter and My Ghana Media’s News Editor,  Mr Adwenpa-Hene Kofi Mensah  said “because we are good citizens and think about the welfare of the Ghanaian student, I find it necessary to partner some people which includes: Mr John Kwame Duodu – Politician, Royal Mama – Ghanaian-UK Gospel Musician and Elder Nelson  in the delivery of quality education for the children.

He added that it is to enable candidates, especially the vulnerable ones, to realise their dreams of passing the exams without any logistical limitations.“I believe aside from good preparation, your tools also give you confidence, speed and accuracy. Therefore, I sought to give out these items to you, the candidates, to give you advantages in the upcoming exams. I wish you the very best in these exams. I’m hoping that you have worked really hard even in the midst of this COVID-19 pandemic and I pray that your labour shall not be in vain.

He therefore appealed to the candidates to eschew examination malpractices to avoid the cancellation of their papers and  asked them not to panic but remain calm and read the questions well before tackling them in order to come out with flying colours. He urged them to focus on their studies to pass their examinations and to enjoy the government’s free senior high school policy.

“Free SHS awaits all of you, and yours is to pass well so that you qualify. Kindly learn hard, do away with fear and never rely on leaks”, he told the candidates. He also advised them to desist from watching television, social media, computer games and others at this crucial moment since that could distract their attention.
