President Mahama To Address Nation On 120-day Governance Contract

President John Dramani Mahama will deliver a special national broadcast on Wednesday, May 7, to provide an update on the progress of his administration’s 120-day contract with the people of Ghana.

The announcement was made by the Minister of State in charge of Government Communication, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, who encouraged citizens across the country to tune in to the address.

According to Kwakye Ofosu, the broadcast will give Ghanaians the opportunity to independently assess the President’s performance over the past four months and determine how well he has fulfilled the promises outlined in the contract.

“On Wednesday, the President will hold a broadcast in which he will render account for his stewardship in the last four months or 120 days. Therefore, I will urge Ghanaians to tune in and listen to the President so that they can draw their conclusion as to the level of compliance with the very promises that the President made to the people of Ghana,” he said.Ghanaian fashion

Abolishing the E-Levy, Bet Tax, and Emissions Levy, to reduce the tax burden on citizens.

Funding the Women’s Development Bank, with seed capital allocated in the national budget.

Introducing a Code of Conduct for Government Appointees, to promote accountability and integrity in public service.

Kwakye Ofosu added that the President will also unveil additional initiatives and provide updates on pending commitments.

“The President will give an update on what he has been doing in respect of the 120-day contract,” he reiterated.
