The director general of the National Financial Investigation Agency in Equatorial Guinea, Baltasar Engonga is trending on social media following the leak of his alleged sextapes.
Engoga has been arrested for allegedly recording over 400 sextapes of the wives of notable people in the country.
The scandal emerged in the course of a fraud investigation against the 54-year-old Economist which resulted in the search of his house and office on impromptu notice by ANIF officials who came across several CDs that later revealed his sexcapades with different married women.

Baltasar Engonga is the director general of the National Financial Investigation Agency (ANIF) and is tasked with overseeing financial investigations and implementing anti-corruption measures.

2. Nicknamed Bello
Baltasar Engonga is nicknamed “Bello” on account of his good looks.
3. Son of the President of the CEMAC Commission
Engonga is the son of the current chairman of the Central African Economic and Monetary Community CEMAC Baltasar Engonga Edjo’o.
CEMAC is a regional economic community made up of six countries: Cameroon, Chad, the Central African Republic, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, and the Republic of Congo.
4. Married with six kids
His family life has come under strain due to the scandal, which has not only impacted his professional reputation but also raised questions about personal integrity within high-ranking government positions in Equatorial Guinea.
5. Economist
Born in 1970, Engonga has built a career as an economist and public servant in Equitorial Guinea.
He pursued his education in economics and finance, earning a degree from the University of Malabo.
