Celebration of the 36th Farmers’ day in the Atwima Nwabiagya Municipality.

 

The event to celebrate and award hardworking farmers and other people in the agribusiness for their enormous contributions over the period towards food production, animal rearing , job creation and sustainability of quality yield in the municipality took place at Atwima Mim. 

The function was attended by the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Amoah Awuku and the Member of Parliament, the Hon. Emmanuel Yaw Agyei Anhwere. There were other great men from the municipality who were present at the occasion to make it remarkable.

There were several ranges of awards to be presented to the various individuals and groups who worked hard to contribute to the food production and animal rearing in the municipality and Ghana at large. 

It was fulfilling as the Member of Parliament, Hon. Emmanuel Yaw Agyei Anhwere in the bid to motivate the less privileged to actively participate in agriculture presented a special award as his MP’s special initiative to empower the others to work harder as the old adage says, ’disability is never an inability. 

It was a memorable event for the municipality, all farmers and all gathered there to take agriculture and its accompanying businesses seriously because it is lucrative and also adds value to human existence.
