Central Region: JHS Final-year Male Students Drown, 12 Others Escape Death During Swimming In Abandon Stone Quarry Pit [videos]

17 year old JHS 3 boy, Patrick Nyarko drown while 12 escape death in abandoned stone quarry pit at Gomoa Asare-krom Near Buduburam in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.

 

 

 

 

 

The pit has been abandoned for about past five years without any precaution measures.

In an interview with Otixpres news reporter Nana Yaw Asare, an eyewitness Stephen Nyarko says, he saw about 12 to 15 young boys and girls heading towards to the pit to swim.
