The ensuing challenge with payment of stipends has fertilized the doomsayers wish for the NABCO scheme to hit bottom. There has been several comments taking the path of throwing unfounded basis targeted at frustrating the smooth running of the NABCO initiative; all of which is meant to discredit the good image of the current government.
CPTP trainees and the general public are charged to stick to the indicators pointing to the fact that the scheme has not been terminated and is still providing the avenue for the youth to nurture their employability in anticipation of the ultimate goal.
Recent happenings; talk of the Chieftaincy Ministry’s case which got management/authorities confirming trainees being at post; talk of Finance Ministry’s monetary allocation for the payment of stipends; Ghana Metrological Service Department and Ghana Standards Authority’s circulars on plans to retain trainees are all indicators that NABCO is living to its mandate.
Trainees are advised to focus on executing their workplace duties and exhibit good working attitude at their places of work.
We therefore call on the government not to renege on its promises to find the right exit pathway for beneficiaries and pay all arrears as expected.
Again, we have taken notice of the displeasure gripping trainees and seek managerial attention for intervention.
Be Proud Nation Builders!
