The Civil and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana (CLOGSAG) has temporarily suspended its planned nationwide strike, which was originally scheduled to begin on September 25, 2024.
This follows a response from the National Labour Commission (NLC) inviting the CLOGSAG executives to a meeting to address the concerns raised in their notice of intent to strike, referenced in letter dated September 17, 2024.
In light of this development, CLOGSAG is requesting all regional secretariats to halt any strike-related activities until further notice.
Members are advised to await additional updates, which will be communicated after the outcome of the meeting with the NLC.
The Executive Secretary of CLOGSAG, Isaac Bampoe Addo, signed off on the notice, urging compliance and patience among members.
