The Queen Mother for Kotoku Traditionl Area , Nana Akua Asantewaa III has denied allegations by some concerned citizens from Akyem oda enclaves on Akyem Aboabo based, Ahenkan FM and subsequently circulated on social media that she ceased a mower which was given to her by a diaspora in order to present it to the Ghana Premier League Club Oda Kotoku Royals.
The machines are expected to lessen the burden on the club for weeding their pitch.
The mower was given to the queen mother of Kotoku Traditionl Area , Nana Akua Asantewaa III by a diaspora who is a native from Akyem Oda in order to present it to the Kotoku Royals Football Club.
There was an allegations that the queen mother has ceased the Mower and decided not to presented it to the club
In an interview with the Queen mother’s personal Aide, Kakraba on Ahenkan FM’s Church program, he told the host Odi Ahenkan Kwame Yeboah that , a husband of a woman called Akoko Rose who sells rice at the Akyem Oda market gave the mower to Nana Akua Asantewaa III for her to donate it to Kotoku Royals FC on his behalf.
‘It is unfortunate hearing some people making allegations on Ahenkan FM that the queen-mother want to take the mower or has decide not to give the it [mower] to the football club, we have submitted the mower to the FM station (Ahenkan FM) for it to presented to the football team.
Mr. Kakraba added that, the Queen-Mother does not have any bad intention for the development and peace of Akyem Kotoku area, therefore the people of Kotoku must stop the bad thinking for Nana Akua Asantewaa III when it comes to the progress and peace of Kotokuman.
