The chief executive officer of the Boadi Herbal Clinic at Agona in the Sekyere South District Assembly of the Ashanti Region, Dr. Yaw Boadi Mensah, urged herbalists who lack spiritual vision to exercise caution when dealing with herbs.

He said that the herbalist’s profession is a gift from God and that certain medicinal products have spiritual properties; hence, the spiritual obligations associated with plucking the herbs must be carried out by someone with spiritual eyes.

He went on to say that some patients are cursed and that healing them comes at a heavy cost.

According to him, for certain patients, you must fulfill spiritual obligations before you can cure them of their illness.

He cites epilepsy as an example of one of the evil ailments, meaning that if you are a herbalist and you do not have spiritual eyes, you will not have to deal with it; if you do, you may be subject to spiritual attacks.

Dr. Yaw Boadi Mensah advised other herbal practitioners to make deep inquiries in the spiritual realms before offering to assist any of the people who flood their various facilities for healing.

He also added that students who attend herbology schools in order to become herbalists are frequently those who lack the spiritual strength to support their profession and that it is extremely risky for their lives.

In order to know how to carry out the spiritual obligations before obtaining the herbs, Dr. Yaw Boadi Mensah urged the herb doctors to seek spiritual guidance before beginning their herbalist careers.

He discloses that they, as herbalists, typically use juju to attack themselves and that this is an essential component of the work since God made the heavens and the earth. He also says that this truth cannot be disputed.

This was disclosed to Daily Searchlight and MyGhanaMedia.com by Dr. Yaw Boadi Mensah in response to the unexpected passing of Dr. Grace Boadu, the founder and CEO of Grace Gift Herbal Clinic.

Dr. Yaw Boadi expressed dismay at the death of one of Ghana’s premier herbalists with grief, saying that herbalists usually don’t pass away young and must live to be at least 90 years old.

He sends out broad advice to some of the nation’s herbalists, telling them not to brag on media platforms because doing so can lead to attacks.
