Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh Stands Out As The Best Candidate To Team Up With Dr. Bawumia – Sir John.

Mr. John Kwame Duodu commonly referred to as “Sir John”, the New Patriotic Party Atwima Nwabiagya South Constituency First Vice Chairman, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Hon. Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh following his confirmation as the running mate of the NPP flag-bearer, His Excellency Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, for the upcoming December 7, 2024 elections.

In a statement, Sir John highlighted Dr. Opoku Prempeh’s exemplary dedication and unwavering commitment to the growth of the party and the nation, which have been recognised through his nomination and subsequent confirmation by the NPP National Council.

According to the Deputy National Organiser FRIENDS OF BAWUMIA (FoB-’08) and the Ashanti Regional TESCON PATRON, the Bawumia-Opoku Prempeh Ticket represents experienced, uncorrupted, and tolerable political leaders who have excelled in their respective fields.

The nomination of Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh (NAPO) as running mate by Vice President and NPP flag bearer Dr. Bawumia demonstrates the NPP’s political diversity and tolerance over time.

This pairing represents experienced, uncorrupted, and tolerable political leaders who have excelled in their respective fields.

As the Deputy National Organizer for the “Friends of Bawumia 2008 Foundation” (FoB-’08) and the NPP Constituency First Vice Chairman in Atwima Nwabiagya South, I am delighted to congratulate NAPO on his new position.

We have already seen significant progress under his leadership, as he was the first minister to implement free senior high school in Ghana and the first to address the issue of “dumsor” as energy minister.

NAPO is a strong intellectual with strong opinions that he debates fearlessly, sometimes to the point of being abrasive. He works extremely hard, and the National Executive Committee has confirmed that he is the best candidate for the running mate position. While there are other qualified candidates, we believe NAPO is the best choice for the current election cycle.

We are ready to collaborate and work with NAPO and Dr. Bawumia to break Ghana’s 8-year cycle.

NAPO’s experience as an education and energy minister, combined with his background as a dentist and over a decade of service as an MP, qualify him to be the second in command on January 7, 2025.

Dr. Bawumia and Dr. NAPO represent competence, integrity, and a dedication to non-corrupt politics. Ghana will be in safe hands under their leadership, and I urge all Ghanaians to support them.

Under their leadership, we can expect significant progress and positive change in the country.
