Drobomanhene And Drobo Traditional Council Has Chased Us Away  – Toafie Royal Family Speaks

According to the Head,the Chief of Jenjenmireja in the Jaman South Municipality of the Bono Region, the action of the Omamhene and the Drobo Traditional Council clearly indicate that the people of Toafie, which is,Asuogya, Jenjenmireja and Miremano are not included or needed in the Drobo Traditional Council.

Nana Dr.Toa Effa Boamah II, the leader of Toafie Royal Family stated that, the people of said communities has been chased away from Droboman and have received a letter from the Drobo Traditional Council to stay away from the Traditional Council and the letter was signed by the Krontihene of the Drobo Traditional Council,Nana Ofori Bediako when speaking to the media.

Because we want to avoid any Chieftaincy conflict or any foment trouble in their area,in order the people of, Asuogya,Jenjenmireja and Miremano as well as the Toafie Royal Family has accepted the rejection or expulsion of the Toafie Royal Family from the Drobo Traditional by the Drobomanhene and the Traditional Council, said Nana Dr.Toa Effa Boamah II.

Lamented that, the current Drobomanhene has made history by chasing the Toafie Royal Family away from the Drobo Traditional Council where they have served since the 19th century.

Finally made it clear to the whole world that, the people of the Toafie Royal Family therefore reminding the Drobomanhene and his Traditional Council to keep the Drobo Nifahene at Drobo to Vito his powers at Drobo as he has no jurisdiction over the three villages mentioned above.
Also the Nifahene of Drobo Traditional Council should therefore not carry himself as a chief in any of the three villages, Jenjenmireja, Asuogya and Miremano,in the interest of peace and harmony.
