The Eastern Regional branch of the ruling New Patriotic Party, NPP, will hold a unification and thanksgiving service for a successful regional conference Sunday, June 5, 2022, at Akyem Oda.
A letter issued to the new executives and stakeholders by the Eastern Regional Secretary Tony Osei-Adjei said “I wish to on behalf of the Regional Chairman and his Executives, invite you to a program dubbed “Regional Unification and Thanksgiving Service”.
The program seeks to offer thanks to the Almighty for a successful regional election and also promote unity among the rank and file of the party at all levels within the region.
All are expected to join the Regional Chairman and his Executives at Methodist Conference Hall, Akim Oda on Sunday 5th June 2022 at 10:00 am.

He also indicated that the service is open to the general public.
David Prah apologizes to Jeff Konadu, smokes peace pipe after scathing attack
Ahead of the unification and thanksgiving service, the immediate past Eastern Regional Communications Director of the ruling New Patriotic Party, NPP, David Prah has openly apologized to the newly elected Eastern Regional Chairman of the party, Jeffrey Konadu over his unprovoked attacks during the heat of the campaign to the chairmanship race.
David Prah took the side and joined the campaign team of Kwadwo Boateng Agyemang the sole contender of Jeff Konadu, and launched scathing attacks on his integrity describing him among other harsh words such as incompetent, and corrupt.
Speaking on Oman FM’s boiling point show Tuesday evening of May 31, 2022, Jeff Konadu expressed his worried that, David Prah who was once his close friend could go to that extent due to politics however stated that he has forgiven him.
David Prah called into the program to openly render an apology to Jeff Konadu to let bygones be bygones.
Kwadwo Agyemang Boateng who was defeated also called into the show to pledge his unflinching support to the new regional leadership.

David Prah relieved himself of duty in the party after Jeffrey Konadu was elected Regional Chairman.
Even though many political analysts believe David Prah is running away from his own shadows, he, however, explains that he wants to concentrate on his new job as Deputy Director-General of TVET.
