The people of Akyem Apraku in the Denkyembour district of the Eastern region are pleading with the government to reconstruct new CHPS compound for the community.
Speaking with the residents, the current “Atta Kwame” CHPS compound they have serves over 6 communities in the area but they don’t even have fridge to keep drugs, no fan, bed, chairs, nurse’s quarters, etc.
According to them, they combine two benches together as bed before every service.

The Akyem Apraku Gyaasehene, Nana Kwame Baah confirmed that, the community spent about GHc2,800 for the CHPS Compound’s renovation and the former MP, Hon. Ama Sey also supported them but now they are tired.
