In order to guarantee Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the presidential candidate of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), a convincing one-touch victory, the FoB-2008 Foundation has stepped up its nationwide campaign.
Based on his achievements as Vice President and his numerous policy and program proposals for Ghanaians, the group believes that Dr. Bawumia is the most suitable candidate for advancing Ghana’s development.
Therefore, in order for Dr. Bawumia to win and carry on the solid groundwork that the Akufo-Addo government laid, group members are appealing to Ghanaians to turn out in large numbers on December 7 and vote for the ruling New Patriotic Party’s flagbearer.
They expressed their conviction that Dr. Bawumia and the NPP are the best for the nation at the regional coordinators’ meeting on Monday, September 23, 2024, at Royal Ann College of Health in Atwima-Manhyia, close to Abuakwa, off the Kumasi-Sunyani route.

The FoB’08 Foundation group chairman praised Mr. John Kwame Duodu, more commonly known as Sir John, the NPP First Vice-Chairman for Atwima Nwabiagya South, the FoB Deputy National Organiser, and the patron of the Ashanti Regional TESCON on behalf of the executives.
Sir John was given a standing ovation for devoting his time and resources for the campaign activities of Dr. Bawumia and the NPP.
On his part,FoB’08 foundation Patron, Lawyer Charles Owusu Juanah, stated emphatically that the upcoming general election is not like the other elections that have been held in the country over the years.
According to him, the 2024 general election is critical and crucial, for which reason it needs to be taken seriously by the rank file of the party, especially by FoB’08 foundation members.
He said the need for NPP to focus on grassroot campaigns cannot be underestimated to enable the electorate to know the unprecedented achievements of the NPP government.
Lawyer Juanah said because of the well-being and better future of Ghanaians, they should all redouble their efforts to retain the NPP in power, adding that the NPP had done a lot.
