The former President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kwesi Nyantakyi was the guest of honour at the launch of Besiktas Football Academy over the weekend.

The ex- WAFU zone B boss was invited by the owners of the newly formed academy, as they roll out their plans of unearthing talents in Ghana.

The event which took place in Nima, a suburb of Accra, had the former owner of Wa All Stars, now Legon Cities share his ideas with the club.

Besiktas Football Academy will enroll young footballers at a very tender age and groom them into becoming superstars.

Nima is noted for producing some quality football talents in the country.

Notable amongst some of the players are Ajax Amsterdam star Mohammed Kudus and Anderlecht’s Majeed Ashimeru.
