Former NUGs President Extends Helping Hand To Adum Fire Victims

Emmanuel Yoadom Boakye, the former president of the National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS), has demonstrated remarkable generosity by supporting the victims of the recent fire outbreak at Adum in the Ashanti Region.

Recognizing the devastating impact of the disaster, Boakye donated 50 bags of cement and GHC 10,000 in cash to aid in the rebuilding of the Adum Blue Light facility that was destroyed by the fire.

Resilience

During his visit, Boakye encouraged the affected individuals to remain steadfast and optimistic about the future.

He emphasized the importance of community solidarity in times of crisis and urged the government to expedite the reconstruction process.

Boakye’s gesture serves as a beacon of hope for the victims, reminding them that they are not alone in their struggle to rebuild.

Passionate Appeal

Boakye also issued a passionate appeal to well-meaning youth in the Ashanti Region to join forces and support their fellow citizens in this time of need.

He emphasized that collective action and community support are essential for overcoming challenges and rebuilding lives.

“By rallying together, the youth can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by the fire”, he said.
