Ghanaian Highlife Legend Amakye Dede Involved In Accident.

Renowned Ghanaian highlife musician, Abrantie Amakye Dede (Iron Boy), and his team were involved in a road accident on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at approximately 1:50 AM.

 

The incident occurred while they were traveling from Takoradi to Agona Swedru for their next scheduled show, following a successful performance at the Takoradi City Mall.

According to a statement from Amakye Dede’s management, the accident happened between Apam and Winneba.

 

Fortunately, no fatalities were recorded, and Amakye Dede and his team received immediate medical attention at the Winneba Hospital.

This incident bears a resemblance to a similar accident that occurred on January 2, 2016, on the Anyinam-Bunso road in the Eastern Region. Amakye Dede sustained severe injuries in that crash, which tragically claimed the life of his manager, Isaac Yeboah.
