Ghanaians Are Still Suffering But….. – Bawumia

The Vice President and the presidential candidate for the New Patriotic Party, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has once again acknowledged the prevailing economic hardship in the country.

He said although many Ghanaians are facing difficulties, many things have been done to ameliorate the suffering

“The suffering is there, it’s not gone, but there are a lot of social interventions to reduce the suffering,” he said.

The flagbearer of the NPP said this in an answer to a question on his “Ghanaians are suffering” mantra in the run up to the 2016 elections.

According to him, the various measures introduced by the government have reduced the suffering.

“Teachers were suffering, now they have received their allowances, Nurses were suffering, we have restored their allowances, the suffering of parents has reduced because we introduced free SHS,” he cited.
