GhanaPay National Service Personnel Declare Strike Effective Today

Spread the love

GhanaPay Subscribers of the  National Service Personnel Association have declared a strike action effective today, Monday, July 15, 2024.

The personnel stated they will not resume work until their allowances are paid.

The group claims their monthly allowances have been delayed while other personnel have been paid, except for GhanaPay subscribers.

They expressed frustration over the disparity in treatment, noting that although they work alongside other service personnel, they have not received their payments.

Due to the nonpayment of their allowances, the personnel say they are struggling to pay for accommodation and utility bills.

They emphasized that as a unique workforce in the state, they deserve equal treatment and prompt payment of their allowances.
