Grace Ashy Withdraws From The Anyaa Sowutuom Parliamentary Race.

The musician Grace Ashy has revealed that she opted not to run for the Anya Sowutuom seat.

She claims that she has met with the New Patriotic Party (NPP) leadership, who persuaded her not to run for office.

“They came to see me to withdraw, so I’ve withdrawn from contesting as an independent parliamentary candidate,” she said while ministering in church.

Grace Ashy indicated that regardless of her decision, she supports Alan Kyeremateng to become president.

“Regardless of the decision to withdraw from contesting, I’m still Independent. Let’s support Alan Kyeremateng in becoming president,” he said.
