On Sunday, December 17, 2023, seven (7) people who had accomplished their ministerial training were ordained and consecrated by the Grecmis Theological College (Accra, Ghana) in collaboration with King of Grace Chapel Ghana.

The ceremony was held at the Auditorium of King of Grace Chapel Ghana’s headquarters in Akyem Asene in the Asene Manso Akroso District of the Eastern Region and was witnessed by several hundred loved ones and well-wishers.

Attending the ordination service were: Obrempong Gyamfi Saforokyere, the Kontihene of Akyem Kotoku Tradition Area; Nana Kakari Apau II, the Chief of Akyem Asene Nana Dr. Ampomah Kobrah Yeboah; the Chief of Akyem Aboabo; queen mothers; and the council of elders.

Along with NPP and NDC executives, Mrs. Victora Adu, the Municipal Chief Executive of Birim Central, was among the politicians and officials present.

Several pastors from different churches within the enclave, as well as Apostle Charles Kwaku Amaning, the head of the Local Council of Churches, and Rev. Kyere, the secretary, attended the occasion.

Dr. Bishop Afum Daniel Dadzie (also known as Dr. ADD), the founder and International Presiding Apostle of Grecmis Theological College (Accra, Ghana), and Rev. Nii Tackia, the Last Day Gospel Church-Kasoa, Elders Kofi Amoako and Emmanuel Acheampong served as the officiating ministers.

The honorary guests were Odiasempa Kweku Ampofo from the United Kingdom and Dr. Kyei Dampare from Holland.

The passage from 1 Samuel 16:12 served as the subject of the event; “So he sent for him and had him brought in. He was glowing with health, had a fine appearance, and had handsome features. Then the Lord said, “Rise and anoint him; this is the one.”

During their study period, these ministers were taken through Homiletics, Hermeneutics, Church History, The Prophets, Pneumatology, Ecclesiology, Psychology, as well as the Old and New Testaments, Savvy, Basics in the Greek Language, etc., to better equip them to advance the ministerial work of Jesus Christ.

Four (4) people were consecrated as reverend ministers, while Rev. Frank Nkansa, the founder and head of King of Grace Chapel Ghana, and his spouse were ordained as apostles and prophetesses.

A certificate was given to the graduates.

In order to prove his ability to bless marriage, Apostle Frank Nkansa was awarded a certificate as a marriage officer.

Hands were laid on the six people in prayers by the officiating minister, Dr. Bishop Afum Daniel Dadzie, in unity and oneness for spiritual strength and courage.

“Go out there and endure afflictions for the Lord. Go, we send you, to revive the evangelistic favor that characterized the only church we read about in the New Testament. As you go, we remind you to be careful with money, women, and materialism. May the Lord be your helper! Go and make your difference in the kingdom!” Dr. Bishop Afum Daniel Dadzie encouraged them.

Speeches

The Founder and International Presiding Apostle of Grecmis Theological College (Accra-Ghana), Dr. Bishop Afum Daniel Dadzie (Dr. ADD), speaking at the ceremony, admonished the new ministers to draw strength and power from the Bible and the training they have received to advance the harvest work of Jesus Christ and to “fight the kingdom of the devil.”.

He noted that indeed, the harvest is plentiful, but true and dedicated servants of the Lord have now become scarce.

‘Be careful with money as you go. Go out there and make your difference in the Kingdom of the Lord. Go and be the strong leaders the Lord is looking for. There are too many false prophets and charlatans in our world today, and I therefore urge you to go and fight them.”

He also advised Christians to understand their tradition first if they want to understand God well.

“If you run away from your tradition, you cannot understand God very well, because God is everywhere,” he stated.

He urged the public, particularly the youth, not to forget God and that they should hold him well.

In addition, Dr. Bishop Afum Daniel Dadzie offered his thoughts on the assertions made by some pastors that Christians represent the only hope in the country.

It is never true that Christians are the only hope, he says; rather, they are the most sinful group in the country these days.

He said that all people on earth are a symbol of hope for the future of the country.

Counsel for Believers

Speaking to the Daily Searchlight correspondent, one of the guest speakers, Mr. Odiasempa Kweku Ampofo, cautioned followers of Jesus Christ to abstain from actions and demeanors that would turn them off the gospel.

In particular, he warned women not to allow the adversary to use them as vessels to bring down ministers of God’s word but to keep praying for them so that they might fulfill their holy task.

In an address on behalf of Nananom, Obrempong Gyamfi Saforokyere, the Krontihene of Akyem Kotoku Traditional Area, asked other traditional leaders to find roles to play in the church because “traditional leadership must serve God.”

He added that everyone had the call of the Lord upon his or her life, and ‘’if you ignore this, you are likely to fail.’’

Pastoral Counseling

The founder and leader of King of Grace Chapel Ghana, who was ordained from Reverend to Apostle, Apostle Frank Kwasi Nkansah, counseled the young people engaged in street evangelism to get employment and quit misleading and defrauding the public for money.

The apostle said, “Even if you were called by God, add work to the evangelism work.”

He recognizes that many pastors face financial challenges in their personal lives and that alternative employment can alleviate these pressures, enabling them to better serve their congregations.

Apostle Frank Kwasi Nkansah argues that ministers of churches should not be expected to bear the financial burden alone and that it is reasonable for them to seek additional income to provide for themselves and their families.

Heartfelt Gratitude

In an interview with Ahenkan News, some of the six church members who obtained their ordinations, such as Kwaku Nkrumah Fricas, the host of Ahenkan FM Drive Time (Akwaaba Drive), who is now known as Rev. Eric Ofori Fricas, expressed gratitude to Apostle F. Nkansah and pledged to carry out God’s ministry with excellence.
