The Executives and entire membership of Ashanti Youth Federation of the New Patriotic Party would like to commend the President of the Republic H. E. President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for re-appointing Obaatanpa Hon Abena Osei-Asare, MP Atiwa-East Constituency, as deputy finance minister.

Hon Abena Osei-Asare upon assumption of office between 2017 to 2021as Deputy Minister of Finance in the first Akufo-Addo led government was undoubtedly one of the outstanding Deputy Ministers. We entrust and pray that, the wonderful capabilities of Hon Abena Osei-Asare would continue to bring success to the Ministry, Government and Ghana at large.
Again, the support she gave to the Hon. Minister of Finance Hon Ken Ofori Atta has been recognized by all including we the youth. She has been dedicated to duty, always responding to assignments given her, suggesting her respective view on financial matter to her Minister, and many other attributes.

All of these proactive stands of her accounted to the success of the Ministry and the Akuffo Addo government in the first term. As a woman given such a high privilege portfolio, did not make it a fancy work but challenged herself to help achieve the President’s goals as a government.
As the youth of our beloved party and Ghana at large, we always wants to see our cherished Country see a better tomorrow for the teeming youth of Ghana and an exemplary vehicle that would make our dreams a possibility as a nation and youth is the Member of Parliament for Atiwa-East Constituency and Deputy Ministers designate for Finance Hon Abena Osei-Asare, whose emense contributions towards youth empowerment stretches beyond her Constituency.

As a matter of fact, Obaatanpa Hon Abena Osei-Asare benevolence towards the grassroots stretches beyond her Constituency and if majority of our cherished Party appointees were like her, we believe there won’t be many complains from the grassroots. We are calling on the current appointees of this government to emulate Obaatanpa to aid us break the 8(eight) as we wish for as a party. The entire membership of Ashanti Youth Federation across the length and breath of the country are grateful to have Hon Abena Osei-Asare as their mother and cherish her massive developmental contribution in Atiwa-East and youth empowerment across the country.

Indeed, with H E President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo maintaining Obaatanpa Hon Abena Osei-Asare, MP Atiwa-East Constituency as deputy finance minister has shown that, indeed he is a listening father and we are proud of him.
The Ashanti Youth Federation would once more wish Obaatanpa and the President of the Republic Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo long life in good health with success.
Thank You
