Happy Farmers Day: Sir John Pens Down Touching Message, “Ayekoo” To All Farmers

Spread the love

Today, December 2nd, 20222, marks a special and memorable day in the lives of our hardworking, tireless, and productive farmers as you celebrate your day. You are indeed worth celebrating for your indelible contributions towards the development of this great country.

The food we eat every day is because of these growers. They work with their blood, sweat, and tears to grow crops every year. I salute the farmers on this great day. We can not thank them enough for their hard labor.

I congratulate all the award winners in the Atwima Nwabiagya Municipal Assembly and the various districts in Ashanti and regional winners. Better luck next time to those who couldn’t win.

I would like to urge all farmers to rally behind our listening government. H.E. the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo, H.E. the Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, and hardworking, creative, and innovative Ministers, Honourable Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, Minister of Trade and Industry, and Honourable Owusu
Afriyie Akoto, Minister of Food and Agriculture, so that all impediments in the agricultural sector are removed

As we enjoy this memorable day, I appeal to all farmers in Kumasi and Ghana at large not to relent on their efforts but to work harder to make our nation great and strong. We are what we are because of what we eat from you, our hardworking farmers. We bless, appreciate, and salute you all. May the Good Lord reward you in his own time for your contribution to national development. As a country, we should and must pray for support for the NPP government to continue to be in power for the continuity and total transformation of our country. We are United in Strength. God bless our beloved Ghana.

All Farmers, Ayekoo
