The Paramount chief of Sefwi Bekwai, Oyeadeeyie Basape Kojo Armah III , has expressed worry about the chiefs in the country for failing to hold politicians accountable to their words
He said this in an interview with the media when the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai, Hon. Alfred Amoah and all his departmental heads payed a cutesy visit to Sefwi Bekwai traditional council after the first time of resuming his second term of office.
Oyeade3yie Basap3 Kwadwo Armah II said this with an emphasised that politicians do always visit “Nananom” and give them sweet promises whereby they don’t fulfill them.
Base on that the Omanhene charge MCE Hon. Alfred Amoah as matter of urgent pay him a visit if not every six months so that they would be able to ask of how far to their previous promises.
Meanwhile , the MCE Hon. Alfred Amoah also gave assurance to work up to expectation to satisfy his promise to the people and Nananom.
He pledged his commitment to the development of Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipal adding that his doors are open for fruitful advice and contributions to the wellbeing of the area. “
I promise to work hard to justify this confidence. I also promise to work with all of you to ensure that developmental projects are brought to this Municipality,” he intimated.
