The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana National Food Buffer Stock Company (NAFCO), Alhaji Hanan Abdul Wahab Aludiba On Saturday, August 5, 2023, he officially filed his nomination form to contest the parliamentary primaries of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Pusiga Constituency in his first attempt to contest for the seat, with the ultimate aim of winning the parliamentary seat back for the NPP.
The Former NPP candidate was, however, defeated in the general election by the opposition NDC candidate, who won by 47.31% as against 46.71%.
However, Alhaji Hanan Abdul-Wahab is confident he is the best candidate to win back the Pusiga parliamentary seat for the NPP.

Addressing hundreds of enthusiastic polling station executives and constituency executives, supporters of the party sang and drummed in his support. Alhaji Hanan said it was evident that he never deserted the constituency.
He continued to roll out community intervention projects dubbed “Impacting Communities, Improving Livelihood,” aimed at improving various deplorable roads in farming communities, enhancing quality education, youth empowerment, sanitation, Water supply, and healthcare.
Even though Dor Alhaji Hanan is not a member of the Pusiga constituency yet, he has done a lot for the Pusiga constituency,some of which include the construction of 89 bole holes, the building of the palace of the respected chiefs, the construction of the nusers courtesy, jobs for the youth in the constituency,and many others.
He assured that the power of education will be leveraged under his leadership as MP for the area by sponsoring and securing scholarship opportunities for brilliant students in the Constituency to pursue engineering,medicine, law, and other tertiary-related programs as part of the broader plan to breakdown the quagmire of poverty.
Alhaji Hanan further said he will continue to mobilize resources through his non-profit social intervention program, “The Good Plan,” to aid poor and vulnerable families in the Constituency.
He assured of supporting farmers in the area by establishing a 100,000-capacity nursery, mobilizing agro-chemicals, and various farm inputs to support farmers.
