Vice President Dr Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia has received rave reviews from the Ashanti Regional NPP Media Member, Mr. John Kwame Duodu well known as Sir John for his stellar role as the second gentleman of Ghana.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has expressed gratitude to the people of the North East Region for providing him with “a first-class assistant” in the person of the Vice President, Dr Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia.
He thanked the people of Walewale in the West Mamprusi Municipality of the Region, saying, “He has been of great help to me in my government.”
The President, who is also the Chairman of ECOWAS, said this at Walewale on the first day of his two-day tour of the Region to thank the people of the area for their support to him and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2020 General Elections.
“A big thank you to the people of the North East, especially to the people of Walewale, you have given me a first class assistant in the form of the Vice President, Mahamudu Bawumia.”
Reacting to the above statement by the President, Sir John enumerated some interventions in terms of development by the current government, emphasising that the interventions are worth commending, reason the people of the country will forever be grateful to Dr Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia and the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
According to him Dr Alhaji Bawumia has performed so well as a Vice-President for the entire nation and he believes that the good people of Ghana are proud of him [Dr Bawumia].
“we should pray for the vice president continue to do more for the mother Ghana . You and the President are working to make Ghana prosperous, and we are all beneficiaries of policies such as our new regions, free SHS, one village one dam, one constituency one ambulance, planting for food and jobs, the roads, the schools, NABCO, and other good policies . To do all this in just your first term and a few month of office is remarkable.” He stated it clearly that the president and his vice have honoured their promises to the Ghanaians.

May God guide and protect our greatest Leaders [President Akufo-Addo & Dr Bawumia] and may machinations by their detractors that they fail backfire, “he prayed.
He reiterated that “ Akufo-Addo and Dr Bawumia are in to develop Ghana and not to destroy it and we should all continue to pray that the almighty God will see them through.” He tells Ghanaians.
