I Will Collapse PPA And Jail Agyenim Boateng – Aseidu Walker fumes.

Kwame Asiedu Walker has rekindled the hope of many Ghanaians in the fight against corruption. The 2020 Independent Presidential Candidate has revealed that he will collapse the Public Procurement Authoruy (PPA) and prosecute  the sacked Chief Executive Officer Adjenim Boateng Adjei should he win power.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Garden City Radio  (GBC Kumasi Branch), he mentioned corruption is a socio-cultural problem in Africa and Ghana in particular and if actors are not dealt with ruthlessly, there can not be development and economic growth.

The measure of the effect of corrupt practices on Ghana’s development gives most Ghanaians a course to worry.

Ghana has been riddled with persons siphoning money for their own

gain, which has become known as one of our major problems.

It has become almost a normal daily practice that people don’t consider as a crime.

Manasseh Azure Awuni, freelance investigative journalists exposè titled

“Contracts for Sale” revealed that the Public Procurement Authority (PPA) boss had interests in a private company, Talent Discovery Limited that got awarded several government contracts and was in the business of illegally selling those contracts to third parties.

The Independent Presidential Candidate, Kwame Asiedu Walker has said, his government will establish Contract Clearing House, where all government contracts will be scrutinized with international legal minds who have liability insurance. 

“No minister or ministry will have the autonomous power to sign any contract on behalf of the Ghana Government”.
