Independent parliamentary aspirant for Asokwa throws support for incumbent member of Parliament

 

An independent parliamentary aspirant for Asokwa, Elder Divine Osei Mintah, has throw his support to the incumbent Member of Parliament, Patricia Appiagyei.

Elder Mintah has defer his ambition to contest the seat to 2024.

Addressing a press conference covered by www.myghanamedia.com editor Kwame Yeboah in the Ashanti Region, he said the leadership of the ruling New Patriotic Party and the council of elders talked to him to rescind his decision to contest the seat. 

Elder Mintah however refused claims that he was induced by to step down.
