Joseph Kwasi Agyemang was born in Techimantia in Ahafo Region of Ghana. He grew up in Kumasi at Krofrom which is recognized by many people as notorious area. From a young age, Joseph Kwasi Agyemang experienced the harsh reality of poverty. Growing up in a modest neighbourhood, he witnessed firsthand the struggles his parents faced in providing for him and his siblings. From skipping meals to wearing hand-me-down clothes, Joseph Kwasi Agyemang’s childhood was marked by financial limitations that were impossible to ignore.
Because Joseph did not want poverty to affect his education, he started as a farmer at a tender age, always following his mother to farm whilst at the same time engaging in his own small farm. He started small farming From Class 1 to Class 6 to pay for his school fees. He later joined his brother in Kumasi who is a shoemaker. At Secondary school, Joseph Kwasi Agyemang had to go on rocky with some of his brother’s Ghana-Made footwears within Kumasi, Takoradi, Koforidua, Ho, Brekum, Sunyani, etc before he can get some money to pay for his fees. This struggle continued till tertiary institution. As a result of his struggle, Joseph Kwasi Agyemang earned a nickname – Africa. Africa, as a nickname simply means most talented African children suffer for their upbringing as a result of corruption and neglect for the needy but brilliant by most African leaders.

The financial constraints had a profound impact on Joseph Kwasi Agyemang ‘s education. Affording school supplies, textbooks, and even transportation to school were constant challenges. Yet, despite these obstacles, Joseph Kwasi Agyemang never lost sight of his dreams. He recognized that education was his ticket to a better future and refused to let financial limitations dictate his potential.

Assistant Professor Dr. Dr. Dr. Agyemang is a highly accomplished academic with extensive experience in teaching, research, and managerial roles. He has served as a Campus Director, a Head of Academics, and a Dean of Students at various universities. Assistant Professor Dr. Dr. Dr. Agyemang has also worked as a Chief Audit Executive at a financial services firm. He is a prolific author and has published numerous articles in reputable journals. His expertise is recognized by his high ranking in scientific indices and his role as a reviewer for Accounting and Finance Journals. In 2015, he was recognized as the best lecturer at Sikkim Manipal University. Dr. Agyemang’s passion and dedication to academia leave a lasting impact on scholars both present and future.

Dr. Dr. Dr.  Agyemang is an Assistant Professor with expertise in accounting and auditing. He has a strong interest in teaching courses related to financial accounting, cost and management accounting, and auditing and assurance. In terms of research, Assistant Professor Dr. Dr. Dr. Agyemang focuses on financial accounting and auditing issues in corporate governance, particularly in relation to stock market, local government, and government business enterprises.
