Mother’s Day Celebration: Sir John Salutes All Women and Mothers In Ghana

Spread the love

As today, May 8, 2022, marks Mother’s Day across the globe, the newly elected 1st vice chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Atwima Nwabiagya South Constituency, Medical Team Member and Patron of the NPP Crusaders, Mr. John Kwame Duodu (Sir John) has sent a well-wish message to Ghanaian mothers for their great contributions towards mother Ghana over the decades.

In a statement, Sir John said, “Once again, Mother’s Day is here with us – a special day for all mothers – not just biological mothers, but also spiritual and mentoring mothers.

According to Sir John, “Without our mothers’ immense sacrifices, we would not even be in this beautiful world today.” Apart from bringing us here to see the light of this world, our mothers also raised us with pure love, affection, and care. We might not often have the time to express our emotions to them, but on Mother’s Day, we can cast away all the shyness and take some time from our busy lives to say thank you to our mothers. So, we should all have some time to show her how thankful we are for her sacrifices for us. ”

It is a fact of life that, apart from God, we owe our mothers our own existence. They were the first faces we saw when we were born. Our mothers are imprinted on our hearts and souls, no matter the circumstances—past or future.

It is interesting to note that Ghanaians refer to Ghana as their motherland. I urge all to extend the appreciation they have for their mothers to Ghana, in spite of the difficulties we may be going through. Because God is with us.

I wish to congratulate all mothers for the sacrificial work they are continually doing in order to keep their families.

Mothers are people who are born with the ability to handle any situation perfectly and put a smile on their children’s faces despite all odds.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the tough, hard-working, patient, loving, and all-around amazing moms out there!
