The General secretary for National Democratic Congress, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah has opened up that, the National Democratic Congress is the first party to bring into being the Cashew Development Board that he said aimed at steering the affairs of Cashew production in the country which indicates the good plans that the NDC have for Cashew farmers.

Mr. Asiedu Nketiah hinted that, the past NDC Government led by H. E. John Dramani Mahama who is a former President and the flag Bearer of the party during the forth year of his first term administration welcomed Nananom from the Cashew Growing areas to the flagstaff house and decided on launching the Board but lost to the NPP in the 2016.

He urged Ghanaians to boycott the ruling government NPP claims on the establishment of Cashew Development Board.

He made this statement during his campaign tour in the Jaman North District of the Bono Region.

Mr. Asiedu Nketiah also added that, when the mandate is given to the NDC in the forthcoming elections, one major infrastructural development will be the construction of all major roads that links to Sampa and the construction of Sampa Township roads.

It will uplift the name of Sampa and Ghana at large since Sampa is a window to Ghana from Côte d’Ivoire.
