The National Democratic Congress’s parliamentary candidate for Okere Constituency in the Eastern Region, Mr. Prince Henry Anim Owiredu, has called on all sympathizers and party faithful to unite ahead of the general election scheduled for December 7.
He claims that if the party stays united, it will win the election hands-free.
Mr Owiredu made this pronouncement when he was addressing over thousands crowd and when he organized a walk dubbed “24 hour economy walk” in the Okere Constituency.
He promised to ensure further advancements in the area if the people vote for him as their MP.
He added that the 24 hour economy policy will help to reduce the unemployment rate which is high the area.
Speaking to the crowd, Mr. Bismarck Tawia Boateng, the former Eastern Regional Chairman of the NDC, expressed his belief that the party can win both the presidential and parliamentary elections in the Okere Constituency with perseverance and hard effort.
According to him the NPP as a party has adopt the strategy of vote buying which to him it will not work this time around.
He said the NDC leadership will do their best to protect every vote cast on the day of election.
Mr Tawia Boateng urge the people to preach some of the policies in the party manifesto especially the 24 hour economy policy which is the best policy to bring back dead economy.
