NDC Premaries Are Transparent, Free & Fair – NDC South Africa Chapter Lauds Election Committee

The National Democratic Congress (NDC), Chapter in South Africa, has lauded the national, regional and constituency executives for ensuring that the presidential and parliamentary elections conducted on Saturday May 2023 were transparent, free and fairs.

According to the members of the NDC South Africa Chapter who came to Ghana to observe the presidential and parliamentary elections, they observed that these elections were successfully held in devoid of any trouble, violence and disturbance in all the voting centres of the various constituencies they visited during the elections.

Speaking in an interview with journalists, the
Chairman of NDC South Africa Chapter, Mr. Mohammed Bukari on behalf of the members was proud of Ghanaians for maintaining peace in the country.

Mr. Bukari reiterated that the members of the NDC South Africa Chapter came to Ghana to support the NDC to conduct the presidential and parliamentary primaries which was held on Saturday May 13, 2023 across the country.

He indicated that the members of the NDC South Africa Chapter loves Ghana because it is a peaceful nation.

“So far so good to say that all the places of where the we members of the South Africa Chapter visited, started from the NDC national headquarters in Accra and voted to elect the presidential and parliamentary candidates during the election, everything went on successfully,” he added.

He noted that after successfully went the voting processes in Accra they proceeded to the Ayensuano Constituency in the Eastern Region in Suhum and some of the members of the party from the South Africa chapter casted their votes in the constituency.

He mentioned that they observed that in the Ayensuano Constituency the voting processes also went on successfully as planned by the national, regional and constituency executives and electioneering committee of the NDC.

Mr. Bukari pointed out that they also visited the Nsawam in the Nsawam Adoagyiri Adoagyiri Constituency and observed that the processes were transparent free and fair.

He maintained that the members of the NDC Chapter in South Africa on other hands tried in several ways to help the party in Ghana.

“And apart from helping the NDC in Ghana to be a successful party, we also extended our hands to help most of the constituencies.

According to him, the National Democratic Congress Chapter in South Africa in partnership with the Member of Parliament (MP) for Ayensuano Constituency in the Eastern Region provided 10 mechanised boreholes to 10 communities in the area.

The initiative, is the first phase of the ‘Operation 100’ boreholes in the constituency, facilitated by the NDC Chapter in South Africa.

“The National Democratic Congress Chapter in South Africa some students from some school in Ayensuano Constituency and by the grace of God, coming Monday May 15, 2023, we are going to hand over tablets to the adopted students in these schools to add to their study materials so that innovation can take its course in that schools” he concluded.
