NDC Presidential Primaries: Mahama Is The Weakest Aspirant – NPP’s David Obiri-Yeboah

The Former NPP Youth Organizer for Dome-Kwabenya constituency, David Obiri-Yeboah has said that former President Mahama is the weakest aspirant among all those vying for the Presidential Candidature for NDC.

According to him, the elections 2024 contest would have been tough if the NDC would present a different candidate rather than former President Mahama.

He asserted that President Mahama had been tried and tested and he couldn’t prove his worth and apart from Mahama, none of those contesting for the race has ever been President before hence if the NDC had presented a new candidate, electorates might have believed whatever that candidate would have said because he/she hadn’t been there before.

He stated that Mahama has been a President for four (4) and a half years and therefore whatever he wants to do if he’s re-elected, he could have done that when he had the chance.

He furthered that, one would have thought that as a Presidential candidate hopeful for a main opposition party like the NDC, former President Mahama would have shared his alternative policies to the electorate and convinced them on why they should hand over power to him however, he’s doing the contrary.

In an interview monitored by MyGhanaMedia.com, David Obiri-Yeboah added that Mahama is only touring the country, making the government unpopular thinking that would inure to his benefit when he cannot even provide an alternative policy.
